Music really is the international language! We have seen how true this is in our different groups again and again.
We know we have achieved our goal when the spark jumps over to the audience! Our music entertains our guests and is fun for us to make. We practice hard and gather new experiences from numerous performances. That's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun.
We love to see our music finding an excited and receptive audience! Thank you for your support, and thank you for your attendance. We look forward to playing for you in 2015!
Are you tired of making music all by yourself? Let your musical talent bloom with us and perfect your style! We welcome anyone who reads music, plays an orchestral instrument and will attend practice once a week. It's OK if you are rusty; come join us and revive your skills.
Find out more about us, and keep up with upcoming practice sessions and performances by checking this website for new postings.

Vernon Parish Chamber Orchestra ended a busy 2014 winter season with a concert at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper, TX, playing classical and Christmas selections.
A number of orchestra members played for "Wreaths Across America," a memorial service at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville on Saturday, December 13.
Before that was a performance at First Assembly of God Church in Leesville on Tuesday, December 9. That concert followed one at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Leesville on December 7.
Earlier in the season, the orchestra presented a "Farewell to Summer Soiree" on September 19 on the lawn at Booker-Lewis Restaurant, offering a mixture of classical, jazz, popular and a Broadway medley. A big thank-you to Robert Rose and Booker-Lewis House for the beautiful setting and free refreshments.
At a Concert on the Lawn at Booker-Lewis House, Tuesday, May 6, the orchestra played "Calypso Capers," a special arrangement for strings, "Slavonic Dance," "Rhapsody in Blue," "Broadway Tonight," "The Barber of Seville." plus "Minuetto" with flute, clarinet and oboe. Appreciative audiences bring the orchestra to life!
Fall-winter orchestra rehearsals resumed on August 5, with rehearsals occurring weekly at 6:00 PM on Tuesdays in the Leesville High School Band Hall.
